**** ACCEPTING CRITIC REVIEW. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS MY FIRST TIME DRAWING CHIBI STYLE****
My first Chibi ever. I went to Barnes & Noble to find a new book on drawing and came across a book called "How to draw Chibis and Furries." So, I looked at the first tutorial and gave it a try with Rainbow Dash. It came out way better than I expected.
Wow this is cute! I really think so! The first thing that caught my eye were the eyes. I like the reflection on them, it gives it a cute and lively feel. I am not a big my Little Pony fan, but your picture makes me feel like one!I also like the way you did the shadowing, how it reflects the light in the hair, and the slants of her eye brows. That was a cute and nice touch! You look to me like you are very good at this kind of stuff! Can you maybe teach me some time? I don't have anything else but to say good job! ~liza, who is apparently a critic now
Chibi Rainbow Dash. Now for critique... Vision is quite clear, Rainbow taking on one of the best known anime faces around: The kitty face. Cute. Originality is quite strong, the face is well done, plus the character you did it on is quite fitting, considering all of the faces she has gotten in the series The technique used here is also good, simple yet effective, with my favourite part being the eyes, which I'm guessing are a nod to the traditional styles used in anime. Impact overall: A simple yet effective piece; it has good colouring, good expression, plus it is done on the right character. Overall, great piece
